    At first, my travel plans experienced a glitch: I suffered intense back pains and had to move my vacation a few days later. The resort's management kindly allowed to move my booking a few days later; upon arrival, the front desk informed us that management had upgraded our room to a beach villa! Not only was I shown kind consideration, but also generosity. ❤️ Each resort staff we encountered were hospitable ang helpful; for example, the guy in charge of the beach equipment, when we borrowed a kayak, informed us that there is also a hidden beach not far from the resort-we went there and it is beautiful! The resort is on a sunrise beach with very fine white sand. You can snorkel right in front of the resort. There are 2 pools, 1 is saltwater, 1 freshwater. The restaurant has floor to ceiling glass doors that when open, allowed the fresh sea air to cool you as you eat (but there are also fans and aircons if needed). The food was delicious. The beach villa was spacious and luxurious. We had a fantactic vavation and could'nt ask for more ❤️❤️❤️😊

    Matinloc exceeded our expectations! Gorgeous location, spacious and clean room, a wide variety of included activities, and unbeatable Filipino hospitality. Food and tours were very pricey but great quality. Wish we could have stayed longer!

    I had a terrible experience with this hotel. I booked and fully paid for a 2-night stay well in advance, only to be told upon arrival that my room was only available for one night because they had double booked it. This was entirely their mistake, yet I was the one who had to deal with the inconvenience and stress. What made things worse was their refusal to refund me for the second night. They hid behind a “non-refundable booking” policy, even though the situation was clearly their fault. There was no effort to resolve the issue fairly, no compensation, and no sense of responsibility from management. The lack of professionalism and poor handling of the situation is unacceptable. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.
