We loved our stay! The staff were very friendly and helpful, helping us to book scooters and giving us recommendations for the island. Our room was great and we enjoyed our balcony during the evenings. The breakfast each day was delicious and had a great mix of veggies and fruit

What a beautiful place. It's a short walk from the ferry and the food street. Every morning the breakfast is top notch. Healthy and delicious. The AC is so nice and cool, considering how hot Liuqiu is. We were comfortable and relaxed the whole time during our stay. Everyone was friendly and helpful. It's also the nicest looking place on the island, so you'll be snapping loads of photos for your IG profile. Thanks. See you next time.

We stayed with two children (ages 10, 12) for two nights at Mare Cielo. I wished we had stayed for another night. What a treat! From communication prior to arrival, the room, the service, the breakfast. the location, ... everything ... it was a flawless experience. The hotel itself is an easy 5 minute walk from the ferry. The location is close to the downtown area where you have many options for food and boba. You can also walk to the famous Vase Beach in 7 minutes, which is particularly beautiful during sunset. You can also walk to Zhonggao Beach I'm 5 minutes from the hotel, where you can swim in the beautiful crystal blue water, or go just a little further and snorkel and see all sort of fish and of course, sea turtles! I also didn't realize that there were so many little streets downtown that would be fun to wander around. There's also a lot of interesting architecture. The hotel itself is beautiful. It really does feel like walking into a hotel in Greece. It's beautiful, spacious, so clean, and well thought out. We had the bedroom with 4 beds as bunk beds. The kids LOVED the room and I did too. The beds are comfortable, perfect comforter, comfortable pillow, and have the most thoughtful little cubbies in the walls for your books, with a light for reading, and an outlet to charge your electronics. The bathroom had strong water pressure, warm water instantly, a toilet that when closed would keep the seat dry, and was modern and so clean. The breakfast was so fancy and tasty - loads of veggies, one day was turnip cake, the other was quesadilla, veggies, and usually made with local ingredients. My kids also enjoyed the pool, even if small, it provides a nice cooling convenient bit of fun. The staff is friendly, helpful, and can speak English quite well. While I can speak Chinese fairly well, there was a couple from France there who were able to communicate with them. They also went out of their way to provide a map of the island upon arrival, with information in English including the direction of the winds, sunrise, sunset, etc. in English which was incredibly helpful and thoughtful. Last, if you go and speak Chinese, the owner does the most amazing tidal pool tour for just 100 TWD per person for a 1.5 hours. Even with my manageable Chinese, I learned a lot. We saw so many fun sea creatures and the owner took photos of everyone afterwards. What I didn't realize is he is an actual photographer who captured the most beautiful photos for us that I would've hired him to take separately. Anyhow, stay here. I know we will the next time we return to Taiwan to visit family. This place is a gem.
