    We booked here (now called Te Moana) last minute after an AirBnb reservation turned out less desirable than expected. Te Moana was a nice resort on Tahiti with nice rooms and a pool with a beautiful view of Mo’orea. We had a garden suite room. It was clean and sizable with a nice tub and private patio. While there was a handheld showerhead, the tub is intended only for baths. Overall, it was exactly what we were looking for in a last minute resort booking. We later stayed in Mo’orea and Bora Bora and resorts that seemed a bit more luxurious, but Te Moana was still a very nice place to stay, especially for the price.

    We stayed here for Xmas and it was a bit of a splurge and my daughter and I definitely are disappointed. Our room had an odor like a stinky rugby or hockey player’s bag. There was very limited dining options. Breakfast was great but there was only the bar for Xmas eve bc the restaurant was sold out and only 3 tapas options. We ended up going to the Hilton for Xmas dinner and were soooooo glad we did. The pool is beautiful but they were short staffed with the holiday and hotel is aging and it’s not worth the price :(
