    My husband and I stayed the night in a cottage to celebrate our anniversary 18 year anniversary. We were married on a beach nearby and used a room at this place 18 years ago. It needs a lot of updates. The painting of the room is strange. With stains on the wall There were just little things missing like hooks on the door for a towel to hang. The restaurant is closed. Everything just looked run down. The place was very clean but just needs some updates.

    I read some negative reviews before booing. But went ahead as the location is .. as mentioned by many, the closest to beach and price is the most value for money in Malibu area. The room was clean fresh bright. It has small garden at the back. (Room 19) plenty of towels and toiletries. There’s a small fridge microwave coffee maker. And I’d u drive u get to park yr car right opposite yr room. Place is quiet mostly. Love it.

    Location is great. Room was only cleaned once. TV did not work. Window overlooked the parking lot and curtains were very thin. Could see everybody walking by. Location of the room was right next to maintenance room. Workers started at about 730 so it was incredibly loud.
