We stayed for 2 nights in June, so it's the low season and the resort is in the midst of doing construction (swimming pool coming and a new restaurant?). We stayed in one of the newer suites which has an exceptional sea view. Due to it being the low season, only 2 resorts were open on the island and transportation was more difficult. We got a private longtail boat each way (about 45 minute boat ride) and arrived at the resort by stepping off the boat into the water right in front of the resort. The key feature of the resort is the beach and sea right in front, but I'd also say this resort was the nicest of what we saw when walking along the beach. The villas are all beachfront and all have views. Most of the rooms are newer with modern fixtures. There were quite a few bugs but this is expected for Thailand. The food was decent (most dishes around 300-400), and the staff members were helpful and nice.

Island is nice, but room 1 is older and run down. Things are not working properly. Staff is friendly and breakfast is good.
