This was beautiful! I would definitely recommend staying at least 2 nights. We went in and out and didnt' have enough time to enjoy the whole package. The spa, and facilist was amazing. The dinner was great although I would not recommend the champagne cake (too bland for my taste but apparently a favorite for many). The pool looked amazing and I was sad we didn't have time to enjoy it. The room was nice. They also have horseback riding on property but, again, we didn't have time for that either. It's definitely an experience and the room was nice as well!

My husband and I stayed at the MI for 2 nights. We were moved to another room after spending one night in a bed that sloped down at the head of the bed. It was very uncomfortable. The front desk agent was very accommodating and offered me different room options. I was really impressed with the front desk agents, my new room wasn't ready until the after noon. I got a text letting me know when my new room was ready and the agent at the front desk knew the issue (I had spoken to a different agent in the morning) and had my key ready for me. It was such a relief not to have to explain the issue all over again to a new agent. I checked out the next day and interacted with a third agent who asked me how my new room was. WOW super hospitable. The grounds are lovely and well kept. The diner had the best corned beef hash we've ever had. We really enjoyed out stay!

This hotel was great because it’s unusual but despite it being eclectic, it felt very dark and unclean. From the carpet to the tiles. Our sink water took a very long time to go down and the pool seemed to be murky- we didn’t go in. The restaurant staff were very polite and pleasant. Food was okay. Don’t think I’ll be back unless it’s cleaned out and fixed up. The cleaning people did an excellent job, it just that the carpet, paint and fixtures were so dated rusty or chipped. No plug for charger to phone. Had to dig behind the bed to connect to the old extension cord. 😐
