    The hostel gets the job done. In terms of comfort and cleanliness, it is decent. However, this is one of the more social hostel that I have stayed in. I got to meet a lot of travelers here so that made my stay so much better.

    Staying at Madina was fantastic. I stayed here longer than usual because of the superb facility and an accommodating, friendly staff. Location is top- walking distance to Tahrir Square which is the main hub of transport. The hostel is on the top floor so it’s clear of any noise. The owner and staff really does their best to ensure a super clean hostel environment. I’ve met some good friends here as well. Good breakfast, laundry service, a functioning kitchen, coffee/tea, proper AC, curtains for privacy and a few nooks to socialize. If I ever come back to Cairo, there’s only one place I’d consider returning to and it’s Madina.

    One of the beat hostels i stayed in staff is very co operative professional and helpful cleaning superb highly recommend and if ill visit again I’ll surely stay on same place breakfast was good air conditioning washrooms super clean most importantly beds are very comfortable and ladder is angled bunk bed ladder with flat steps and handrails very helgful everything is spotless i stayed in many hostels around the world this one was my one of the best experiences MUsman Janjua

    The hostel itself was fine, but the main issue is that it’s located on the 10th floor and the elevator is extremely unsafe. It has no inner door, and it starts moving the moment the outer door latches, so you have to pull your hand away quickly to avoid it being caught. This made us very uncomfortable. They offer a small breakfast, and the location is convenient — but for the price, it felt expensive. Unfortunately, we wouldn’t stay again because of the elevator risk. For safety reasons, I’d recommend choosing accommodation in buildings no higher than three or four floors, as relying on a lift like this would be very difficult in an emergency.
