We had a pleasant stay at Madi Grand Maldives. The property itself is fairly simple and not particularly impressive, but still comfortable and decent for a local island stay. What really made the experience stand out was the manager, Shariq. He went above and beyond - picking us up from the jetty, helping with our luggage, and even staying with us at the ferry when we left to make sure everything was smooth. He also guided our excursions and was incredibly passionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring about the ocean and marine life. We had an amazing time thanks to him - swimming with turtles and sharks, and spotting dolphins was truly unforgettable. The breakfast at the hotel was good, and we also loved the cute and friendly cats around the property - a nice little touch. One thing to note is the construction noise nearby, but this seems to be common across the island at the moment. Overall, while the hotel itself is modest, the hospitality and experience - especially thanks to Shariq — made our stay very worthwhile.

We did not want to leave! The place is extremely clean - I love having to take shoes off downstairs and hose your feet to avoid sand all through the stairs and rooms. The pool was amazing! Breakfast didn't have much variety, especially with kids but they do cook you eggs however you would like :) Room was SPOTLESS. Beds were very comfortable. We can not fault the staff at all. They go above and beyond for EVERY guest!! Shariq is absolutely amazing and takes his time with all guests- tours, fishing from the beach, making whale sharks etc from cardboard, was going to come play soccer with us but ended up on a tour. We didn't want to leave! Thank you all so much- we will definitely be back!

The host took care of us very well. The room is clean and nice. The snorkeling trip by the host is also very enjoyable.

+ good location, few min from the beach + clean rooms + place to hang out the towels etc available + cute garden - apart of 1 guy no one was interested in customer satisfaction - 90% of the staff was disinterested, not friendly, not welcoming - wife not always working, weak signal - pool didn't seem to have a filter/cleaning system - the water was always still and muddy; I would not go to that water or let the children in - worse breakfast we had during the 4 weeks traveling ---> very little choise, small amount, fresh fruits cut with the same knife as chili, it seemed a war in the morning, who's the fastest to get something. After 2-3 days I understood the asian tourists having their own ramen bowls from the shop (safe choice) - tours much more expensive than with other places - exchange rate 25% higher as the official one, very high expenses if you pay by card - overall not a 4* service at all
