Great place for a family staycation! Visited with my 2-year-old and loved it. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended!

Our stay was okay except for the bathroom, the towels need replacing. The insulation is not good, we can hear noise from the room next to us.

The place is super chill tho if you book during the sunny season then its very hot to stay around within the resort. Staff were great and accommodating and food prices aren't that super expensive unlike farther resorts. Overall I'd rate a 3.5/5 as there are only limited things to do in the area.

I have tried Maayo hotel before at San Remigio and it was good. Our accommodation was made of cement although it was a group room. I booked Maayo Hotel for an Aquathlon event and brought my kids. We also booked extra family room for my inlaws. However, i did not expect we would be in bunkhouse type that is made of metal. You could hear footsteps and barely get any sleep. There was also no refrigerator which should have been standard of P5000 room. The distance to reception and cafe was also far and you had to ask staff to help call the shuttle. The pool could use some shade for when people want to swim during the day. There should have been a walking shortcut from the accommodation to the reception/restaurant - or at least keep the restaurant near accommodation be the default open. Was not value for mone y- the P5,000per night should have been only P3000 per night. We also had to pay extra P1000 for early checkin, which should have been waived/given for free as it was available already and we were bringing kids- you could have won a repeat customer. Not booking again when we will join the event next year. Staff were good though and the breakfast buffet had sufficient variety.
