8.8 / 10Excellent·Aug 2026
Firstly the hotel is beautifully decorated, spacious and quirky. The breakfast is excellent and the small pool by the bar is shady and relaxing. However, I would not recommend the room we had for families with children. It is very dark with little natural light, is over two floors with a steep marble spiral staircase and the jacuzzi (which although initially a lovely and exciting surprise addition to the room) did not have a safety cap on when we arrived. My son went in the jacuzzi and his thigh got sucked into it causing a nasty deep red mark that is still present several days later. I understand sometimes things get forgotten but when mentioned there was no apology. Thankfully it was his thigh - which will heal - but it could have been far more serious. In summary, a few housekeeping/maintenance issues but would still recommend it to couples.
