I booked the book through agoda and chose 'pay at hotel' method payment, mind you, the check-in time stated in agoda was until 23:00 and they didn't send me email/message to let me know that i should've told them we are going to check in late, we came around 8pm, the staff asked us whether we informed them that we will check in after 6pm? I said no, and she started telling us that we should've told them if we are coming late, other people will come and pay for the room if not, and as we wanted to make payment, they only want cash, so my friend wanted to withdraw some money from the ATM which is only 2 minutes away from the hotel, but she kept telling us we need to be quick or she will give the room to someone else, she kept urging us to hurry up and threatening us, it only took my friend less than 10 minutes to come back and I was feeling so awkward while waiting at the lobby. Then, after we paid, they gave us our room card and the room wasnt even being cleaned!!! It was not tidy up, and when my friend told her about our room, she told us that's the only room left..... so?? do something. We didn't pay to stay at dirty room. Luckily, one of the male staff noticed our discomfort and checked the room, telling us to wait for some time as he clean the room. We waited and waited. I think the only reasonable and kind staff was that male staff. I didnt get to know his name, but the others left us with unpleasant memories with their answers, stares, way of talking.
