The hotel is well situated to be away from major traffic. Food was incredibly presented, tasty and exceptional. Breakfast was very hearty necessitating cutting back on orders, and all meals were quickly done

The Loews Coral Gables is an exceptionally beautiful place. Located near restaurants and shopping, it offers wonderfully friendly service with the exception of the five-foot-two, twelfth-floor housekeeping supervisor who woke us with a knock on our door and a clipboard in her hand at 8:30 to make sure her staff was able to clean the room. I mention her height because there should have been NO REASON for her not to notice the DO NOT DISTURB placard on the door handle!!! Our one-day stay was fantastic up until that point. On a much lighter note, we would also like to recognize Darcy, the multilingual bellman who is an asset to the hotel. His attention and care toward us were outstanding. Thank you, LOEWS. Now, go talk to your housekeeping staff!! Do not let this woman say she made a mistake. I continued to SEE and HEAR her go down the hall and repeat the process in other rooms.
The three stars are only because Darcy brought it UP from a one.
