    We (3) stayed here for two nights. We booked this place because we saw the chairlift pics close to it from their IG. Unfortunately, the lift wasn't opened at all during our stay. And if you drive, it's not the most convenient place, cuz you'll have to park your car at a pay parking lot, and contact the owner to pick you up. Ms. Uzuki who oversees the operation of Lodge Sano can speak English. She takes care of her guests very well, serving delicious dinners and breakfasts. The lodge is a bit dated though with just basic facilities. We stay in a room with no private bathroom. It's a little challenging to go to the public toilet during winter. Overall, this lodge provides great services and good foods, but overall value for money is just so so in terms of location and facilities. Would have been better if the chairlift operates, but it's not the owner's fault. They want it open too.
