The outlook of the hotel was pleasant, the communal areas modern and we had a decent sized bedroom, however that is where it stopped.
Room - comfy bed, yet we noticed that quite a few repairs were needed. The sink is in the main part of the room, so if you dont want to wake your partner you'll not wash hands/brush teeth!
Restaurant - Breakfast was just lacking, it seemed fresh but quality was missing somehow.
Dinner - good food at reasonable prices, nice space but it is a walk through for rooms/pool. No view, focal point or entertainment (such as music), so it was too quiet. Restaurants by the beach offer more.
The pool is cold, only open from 09.30-19.00 and oddly lacking size because of what seems to be a shallow section for small children? - the cold is manageable on a hot day but there are lots of ants, otherwise you'll not want to go in. Towels from reception. If you think to use the indoor pool, think again, this is the wellness side for spa guests only and costs upward of 40euro for a couple of hours.
Massages, again upward of 40euro.
Staff - one young girl with glasses at reception was great, others not so friendly.
In essence, the hotel didnt warrant the extra cost. Its not by the beach, so the price relates to it having a spa but this is all extra. The modern feel is nice but the pool is small/cold and without entertainment, lacks charm to keep you there.
