I booked the Premium Water Chalet and paid over RM700, and honestly I am extremely disappointed. For this price I expected proper luxury and quality, but what I got didn’t even meet a decent 3‑star standard, let alone 4-star hotel. Total waste of money, zero value. Service & Attitude Front desk staff — especially the female receptionist were unsmiling, unfriendly, looked grumpy and unhappy. Not sure if they were busy, but basic courtesy and warmth is the bare minimum. No hospitality feel at all. Room Condition, Cleanliness & Maintenance — Major Problems - Cleanliness very poor: I clearly saw loads of rubbish, plastic wrappers, paper scraps and dirt UNDER the bed. Housekeeping only wiped/swept what was visible; everything hidden was completely ignored. - Everything old, worn out & broken: • Bathroom door lock damaged — can’t close or lock properly • Bedroom door lock & handle spoiled, loose and wobbly • Balcony sliding door won’t close fully / properly • Bathroom floor tiles very old, stained, grimy — looks permanently dirty, not “rustic” • TV screen unnecessarily small for this class of room • Outdoor shower feature failed completely: It’s designed with a sliding glass roof you open by pulling a rope from inside the room — I tried pulling it, but it’s stuck tight and won’t open at all. A key selling point that simply doesn’t work. - Only good point: Air‑con is cold and works well — that’s literally the only positive thing here. Facilities, Food & Pricing - Very limited facilities overall, nowhere near what you expect for this price tag or brand name. - Buffet breakfast: Very basic — just simple local dishes, bread, nothing special at all. Nothing to praise. - In‑room dining menu: Ridiculously expensive. My honest advice: drive out to Port Dickson town just nearby — lots of food choices, much cheaper and tastier. Location is actually convenient — that’s the only other plus. Final Verdict For RM700+, I could easily get a proper 5‑star hotel with better service, clean rooms and proper facilities. This place is overpriced, old, neglected, broken and misleading. It is NOT luxury, it is NOT premium. ❌ I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL. This will definitely be my first and last time staying here. Huge letdown.
