LEGOLAND New York Resort

My family and I just came back from a disappointing overnight stay at Legoland Hotel in Goshen, NY. While my kids enjoyed their time there, I must say that the price tag was hefty and over our budget. But we decided to splurge because it was our first time and our son really wanted it for his birthday. Well, we won’t be returning unless they really up their quality and service. The amenities are subpar for what you pay for. There was someone’s used tooth floss pick on the floor and our linens and sheets had holes in them. Ice was available on one floor and the only place to refill your water bottles was from a water fountain on the first floor. Tables were dirty in the dining areas and there were signs of uncleanliness everywhere. Very disappointed in what we got for the amount that we paid. Unless the price tag drops significantly, we won’t be staying there again.

This was a wonderful experience! The children were entertained. It gave us mommies some time to relax and chit chat as well. Dinner was great! Breakfast wasn’t so bad! The room was wonderful. The entire family had a great time. Looking forward to visiting again!

Kids love the Lego hotel very much.

For the money this is just ok. Everything is extremely overpriced for what it is. Parking lot had a large amount of trash, stayed two nights and 3 days, this was never cleaned. Pretty bad wheb they hit upu for 38$ day parking. We used the lobby bathrooms a handful of times and they were always dirty. The Lego pirate ship in the lobby was fun for the kids, but no one ever came around to pick up the loose Legos or spray anything down. Our room was "cleaned" however it seemed that they just gave up halfway through. Only made the main bed, kids beds were not touched. Never refilled the toilet paper we were completely out and all the trash cans were left in the center of the room. As for the pool, the hours are terrible, its not very big and always packed. They only have 4 fire pits which you couldn't get near as people would plant themselves at them and never leave, and everytime I was in the lobby store they tried to get me to purchasea smores kit. Glad I didnt. The entire place just seemed to small for what they could handle, and seemed to be understaffed. Did I mention we stayed from Wednesday to Friday. I couldn't image if it was really busy. The buffet was probably the biggest ripoff we experienced. The food for the money wasnt even close to being acceptable. Everything is Lego theme which is cool, but again for what you pay per night, it just doesnt add up. Stay off site and save money to spend in the park.
