    I stayed for an extra five days after intrepid tour, and was so glad i did. the staff were outstanding !!! Fabulous rapport, made the stay even more enjoyable. Having a bath was a bonus, hot water was the perfect temperature. Will stay as a favourite memory.

    We have initially booked 2rooms. The 2 rooms were for 4 people. Upon arrival, we were told there was only one room reserved for us and the hotel was fully booked. We suspect the hotel has either inadvertently overlooked this booking or had a miscommunication somewhere among their staff or had intentionally given us only 1 room, instead of 2. The person in charge at the reception , by the name of Mr***, had offered to give us 2 rooms BUT in ANOTHER service apartment at another location, which he claimed, is nearby. Of course, we turned down his offer as that accommodation place( from pictures we found on website) is not up to our standard- it being much cheaper in room rate and it is NOT a hotel!! We have paid for Le Caspien HOTEL, not a service apartment somewhere else!! My conclusion:- This is tantamount to CHEATing us!!! Hence, we had no choice but to reject his offer and checked into another hotel, We had , therefore,NEVER checked into Le Caspien at all. NOT out of our own choice or last-minute cancellation BUT due to the reasons as mentioned above. It is very dishonest of the hotel to say ‘the room was used as booked’ We have never had bad experience using Agoda.

    Overall the stay was fine. The staff was nice and the location was convenient. However some basic facilities need attention. One of the lamps had a damaged plug with exposed wires which is a serious safety issue. I also tried the food and it was unfortunately disappointing. With better maintenance and improved food quality, the experience could be much better.
