I had a good stay at LBN Asian Hotel in Kampong Cham. Overall, it was a positive experience, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay while visiting the city.

I stayed at Tara Angkor Hotel for three nights and was disappointed with my room. Before arriving, I requested a room on a higher floor and close to the elevator. I received an email saying my request had been approved, but I was placed on the second floor, far from the elevator. The room, pillows, and blankets had an unpleasant smell, and the air circulation was poor. Guests in the room above also made a lot of noise late at night. I couldn’t sleep well on any of the three nights. I hope the hotel addresses these issues and takes more care with guest requests.

Very much commend/recommend the LBN Asian Hotel in Kampong Cham. We had a lovely time....great room and skybar and location and views A1. I will certainly stay there again. The one oddity was this....we ordered breakfast room service and the food and presentation was exemplary (5 star). That evening, and somewhat based on the great "product" at breakfast, I ordered room service dinner...actually the most expensive dish on the menu :) ($16 as I recall). Knock on the door. Food in two plastic take away containers....no serviettes....cutlery was a plastic fork and spoon lol....very odd. Having said that the quality of the food was good BUT presentation matters even if one is outsourcing the supply of the food for guests. It would have taken 2 minutes to arrange the externally sourced food on a dinner plate and served with requisite standards to the guests. Consequently, next night I ate outside of the hotel's room service. Overall, great place to stay in a great place: Kampong Cham!

To the person in charge. Room - 709 Stay - 28/09/2026 to 30/09/2026 I have been patronising this hotel almost every month, but unfortunately, I feel that the service standard has dropped from bad to worse. Today, I saw the chambermaid outside my room and personally asked her to make up my room. However, despite my request, the room was not serviced. This was disappointing, especially as I had already made the request directly. I also asked why the TV was not working, only to be told that the TV was not working throughout the entire hotel. If this is the case, guests should be informed clearly, especially before or during check-in. The toilet has been nicely renovated, but the entrance door is surprisingly small and difficult to enter comfortably. When I raised this concern, I felt that the response from the staff was as though my question was something funny rather than a genuine concern from a paying guest. I have stayed at this hotel regularly, and I have to say that some of the staff are professional and helpful, while others are simply not welcoming. The inconsistency in service is becoming increasingly noticeable. There was also a previous incident when I asked whether I could check in early. I was told that I would need to pay an additional US$100 for early check-in, while the walk-in room rate at that time was only around US$36. This made me question whether the hotel was genuinely trying to accommodate my request or simply choosing not to serve me unless I paid a significantly higher amount. As a regular guest, I believe I deserve a reasonable level of hospitality and consistency. I am not asking for special treatment, but I do expect basic service, professionalism and respect. I hope the management will seriously look into these issues. I have continued to patronise this hotel because I used to appreciate the service and the people here, but if this continues, it will be difficult for me to understand why I should keep returning.
