    We loved our stay at Lansdown Grove. We liked the spacious room, we had the 1st floor balcony room overlooking the garden. The room was clean, bed was large and comfortable. The breakfast was good, with continental and British option. The location is at the top of the hill, 10 minute walk from the centre. There is a regular bus service with close stops from the hotel. I would recommend the hotel.

    Lansdown Grove Hotel was converted from a private house in 1880, so its character is an intrinsic part of its charm. Our room was comfortable and quiet and the facilities good for the price. We would recommend the breakfast choices. Bath city centre is a walk down the hill and if you can't face the walk back up, take the bus! We've stayed there before and will do so again.

    Nice hotel with good meals. Yes there is Parking but 30 spots for 60 rooms and 15 pound per day. Yes there is an elevator but access to most rooms involves going up and down many sets of steps. They were kind enough to move our room nearer to the elevator on the second day. A long walk down a steep hill to town. Too steep to walk back up! A few ponds for the taxi was the easy fix.
