    Great pool area and view. Great spot for families. The food options are pretty limited / no healthy options (grilled chicken or a salad would have been nice) and the staff seemed pretty overwhelmed (holiday weekend) for example there were no pool towels available . In all though we had a great time and will be back.

    Great location next to the boat rentals and pool. The balcony view was amazing and my kid had a blast. However, the room cleanliness was spotty. Good family spot, but housekeeping needs work.

    My husband and I recently stayed at Lakeway Resort & Spa, and unfortunately, the experience did not live up to what we expected from a property marketed as a “resort.” While the location is nice, the overall atmosphere felt much more like a standard hotel than a true resort. Our room also could have used more attention to cleanliness and maintenance. The carpet had noticeable stains, the bathroom could have been cleaned much better, and there was standing water on our balcony, which made it difficult to enjoy that space. For the price and the expectations that come with staying at a resort, we expected a cleaner, more polished and upscale experience. Unfortunately, our stay fell short, and we left feeling that the “resort” title didn’t really match the experience we received.
