I called ahead to confirm my room and ask about the restaurant. I was informed that the restaurant and bar are closed Monday through Thursday, which was fine. I was also told that they don’t do check-ins after 10 or 11 p.m. I didn’t have a great signal during the call, so I wasn’t sure which time she had said.
I arrived a little before 10 p.m. Nobody was at the front desk and everything was closed up. I rang the bell and the owner came from her apartment and promptly checked me in, so no issue there.
Unfortunately, the room itself was disappointing. Neither the desk lamp nor the nightstand lamp worked, and, more importantly, the bathroom was dirty. After being on the road all day, I was too tired to bother trying to get another room, and I wasn’t sure anyone would be manning the front desk anyway. I figured it was only for one night and just dealt with it.
I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels and normally always leave a tip for the cleaning staff. This was the first time I didn’t, because given the condition of the bathroom, I honestly didn’t feel it was deserved.
The check-in experience was fine, but basic cleanliness and making sure the room is in working order should be a minimum expectation.

Good service, checking in was easy and quick.
Room was clean and tidy but uneven bed with sqeaking noise.
The heater AC was loud when turned on.
Could hear people walking upstairs/ noise of something dropped on to floor.

The Inn was advertised as having available breakfast daily. There was no restaurant at all, and even though there were signs outside that said restaurant open, the restaurant was not open at all during our stay you said there's no. Neither was the bar open. There was hardly anything else in the area get any meal in the evening.
