The location is centrally located in the downtown corridor, near the highway so that is convenient for travelers. The rooms and hotel is AWESOME especially for the price and the staff was terrific but the location has some "neighbors" that leave less than desirable views and I think that brings done the reputation of the area and hotel unfortunately. If it was located a few blocks away, it would have stellar reviews I am sure but to be fair, I had no issues with the neighbors and never felt unsafe as a solo female traveler, coming and going alone at all hours, including later at night with all the "neighbors" on full display in the lot across the street. The hotel has gated parking lot as well. Again, it's top notch - rooms, building, staff and price. I would stay again!

We stayed 2 nights with two rooms. The staff were so friendly! The hotel was clean and in good shape! Loved the fact that the doors were locked unless you had a room key or were buzzed in! Easy off and back on the freeway location!

The staff here have good attitudes and try hard but it's an uphill battle. A relatively new building that hasn't been maintained well, I was first given a room with no desk, and then one with electrical issues so that the microwave and refrigerator didn't work. That got sorted out eventually, but hooks were missing for towels and clothes, and although one hanger was provided, there was no bar in the closet to hang it from! Carpet had sticky patches I don't even want to know about, and the cleanliness in general was pretty substandard. This wasn't helped by zero room service during the stay, not even to empty garbage or replace other room items. Breakfast was okay if monotonous, but around 75 percent of the coffee cups leaked from the bottom. This is all just inside the hotel, it gets worse when you walk outside. The neighbhorhood is overrun with drugs and alcohol. You can't even get in the front door without a room card or getting buzzed in. Definitely not worth the price.
