La Jose Beach Resort

Very accommodating staff and very helpful. Highly recommended. Cannot complain anything. Very well spent vacation.

We had a wonderful stay at La Jose Beach Resort. The staff were very kind, accommodating, and always willing to help with our requests. Although the resort is quite far from stores and the town proper, the staff made our stay much more comfortable. They even allowed us to use their kitchen and helped us cook our meals, which made us feel right at home. During our stay, it felt like we had the entire villa to ourselves, making the experience peaceful and relaxing. The resort is also very close to the beach, so we could easily enjoy the sea and then relax in the swimming pool afterward. One suggestion for improvement would be to clean the pool more frequently, as insects can sometimes fall into the water due to the resort's natural surroundings. Overall, this is a great place for guests who enjoy a quiet and secluded getaway close to nature. However, since it is far from the town proper and nearby establishments, it may not be the best choice for travelers who prefer convenience or luxury amenities. The location is right in front of the beach, napaka peaceful nung lugar ang solemn walang traffic,walang ingay. Napaka bait pa ng mga staffs, for it’s price,sobrang sulit nung stay.

My family and I were disappointed. We understand that the beach is full of debris due to the consecutive storms. However, the accommodation amenites were really disappointing. 1. The toilet and shower room both smell like urine. The toilet has plenty of spider webs at the back of the door. 2. Since the place has no phone signal, we expected to use their wifi. It was published there is wifi but upon arrival it turned out to be 'broken'. 3. Although there is generator, upon check in, there was no power hence, no water on the faucet and toilet until 5pm when they opened the genset. The next day, the power went out again(not sure if it was just the genset we were using overnight) and we had no way to take a bath as there was also no water coming out of the faucet. 4. The surroundings (yard) were full of tall grass and seemed dirty. 5. The pool was not heated. Since we weren't able to swim at the beach we tried to dip in the pool but it was not a heated pool so we also weren't able to enjoy the pool. 6. There were not enough curtains that blocks the view from outside for privacy. We felt very expose while sleeping and changing clothes. Pros in the accommodation: 1. The accomodation is spacious. 2. The loft is nice and you can just open the window to enjoy the fresh cool draft from outside in case there was power outage. 3. You can use the kitchen and cook your own meal at an affordable price. 4. Pet friendly. Their pets were also friendly but smells kind of bad.
