    We had a hard time finding a place to eat. There were a few places for lunch but many close down early like 3, 4 pm or one sushi restaurant was really good but then closes twice a week. Only one convenient store closes like 5 pm. After you had a full day of hiking, nothing was open. You can plan and cook in this accommodation. You have everything you need. Owner is very kind and generous, giving us bread and yogurt. So many snacks in the sitting room. Different tea, coffee, peanut butter and jam. Many people were behaving right but I saw some people not nice, littering in the washroom, hair all over the floor.. People should respect the property. I already wrote the other aspects of the place in another review. It was very homey and good value. Thanks Agoda and Kumano backpackers!

    Only one shower/bathroom for all guests and the hot water was not consistent. Location was good for the Shrine
