We stayed here a third time, this time in the Grand Suite. Da Nang is a city that has a lot of construction and this area has major builds ongoing. The hotel is one of the best; the rooms are large and comfortable, the pool is excellent and the location ideal. The only criticism of the hotel is they have limited English speakers on reception, which is ok, but the message system doesn’t work and you cannot know your room until arrival. This matters because the street is noisy with people smoking and shouting outside late at night, bikes honk as they approach the corner and even guests were rudely noisy during this stay. We wore earplugs and still didnt slerp well. The Grand suite is lovely but on floor 2 facing the street. Any street facing room except maybe the Sea View on floors 6 or 7 will be noisy. The city view is fine but we despite numerous attempts we were given a room we specifically asked not to have, and on that basis cancelled other later bookings we had. Its frustrating as this is a very good hotel and construction noise is out of their control and largely 7-6pm; but the communication can be improved. Request a non street view room if you want good sleep, cancel if you dont get a reply would be my advice. So a 3, but could be a 5.

Kua Casa is a dichotomy. On one hand it is a great location which is (in itself) quiet and with good cafes, near the beach. A fantastic rooftop and pool. The Executive suite was good with a small balcony. Having stayed before in a 7th floor Queen with Balcony (that had no balcony but a great city view), we had also booked 3-4 weeks in a Sea View in July. Sadly if you have a street facing room which includes the Sea View suites there is a LOT of construction noise from multiple sites including right across the road, which can go on from 0700 to 1900. Additionally street noise affects lower floors up to about 1030pm, and in room 401 we slept well one night of five: people shouting, cars, music, kids running up and down corridors at midnight and a guy on his phone on the balcony at 1am!!! We couldn't get an answer from staff what room we would have next time so cancelled our Sea View bookings. We have a week in a Queen with Balcony (possibly with a balcony) and as we have not got any replies to Agoda messages or emails, will cancel that if we dont know it faces the city not the street. Staff are very nice though don’t have strong English skills and noone, it seems, sees the messages! So, while this should be a 10/10 and probably is if you get the right room, it is a let down for reasons mainly out of its control.

Friendly staff and a small and quiet place with a variety of room types. Excellent location if you prefer chilled, coffee vibes not nightlife. Close yo the beach with a gym and laundry nearby and great coffee all around. We will be coming back and its good for short or long term. June is busy in Da Nang due to DIFF do book early. Choose upper floors (6, 7) as standard lower floor has no window. Sea view is probably the quietest. Good kitchen, comfortable bed, good shower. The roof deck and pool are excellent.

The location offers good walkability and convenient shopping options, making it easy to get around on foot. Cleanliness and staff service were average, and while the facilities met basic needs, there was room for improvement. Overall, it provided fair value for money but sleep quality was a downside.
