KIORI Collection Nishiki

New hotel opened last month; wonderful staff, excellent location. We tried two different style rooms and the executive room is very very decent. I would say cleanliness is a little lacking with hair strands on bathtub and floor in the living room. Also, please clean the mobile mirror on the table. The little gift is a nice touch for sure and amenities including the daily wine and light refreshment is definitely a huge plus. Thanks for the hospitality!!! Ella & team :)

The place was fantastic. The stuff was fantastic. The place is fantastic near the market near everything you want.

We were able to check in early and the front desk staff was incredibly kind. Our bedroom was very spacious and the bed was like sleeping on clouds. Location is prime and they offer breakfast in the mornings down in the lobby and even have a wine and sake hour in the late afternoon. Perfect to have happy hour before going to dinner in town. Will definitely be staying here again during our next visit

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ So Impressed, I Wrote My First Hotel Review! We absolutely loved our stay at Kiori Collection Nishiki! In fact, this is the first hotel review I’ve ever written—and I liked this hotel enough that I felt compelled to write one. We stayed in the Executive Suite for one night after deciding to extend our trip by an extra night. We were so glad we chose this hotel. It was much nicer than our previous hotel in Kyoto and also a great value. The location was perfect for us. Nishiki Market was just a short walk away, and there were so many restaurants, cafes, and shops right around the hotel. We were also only a few minutes’ walk from Teramachi Shopping Street and Shinkyogoku Shopping Street, which made it incredibly convenient for sightseeing, shopping, and finding somewhere to eat. The hotel was also very close to Karasuma Station (Hankyu), making it easy to get around Kyoto. We loved being able to walk out of the hotel and immediately have so many options around us. Our room was incredibly spacious, spotless, and felt brand new. The hotel and room looked exactly like the pictures, which was wonderful to see in person. Since our room was ready, they kindly allowed us to check in early. They also generously upgraded our adult kids’ room to an Executive Room so they could be right next door to us. We really appreciated how thoughtful and accommodating they were. There were so many nice little touches throughout our stay. We received a handwritten welcome card with a couple of adorable origami figures, and the room had an abundance of toiletries. They even provided a complimentary mini facial-care kit with makeup remover, face wash, moisturizer, and lotion. The complimentary refreshments were another wonderful perk: coffee, espresso, and tea available 24/7; juice and pastries from a local bakery in the morning; wine and sake from 5–7 p.m.; and Japanese cup noodles from 9–11 p.m. We were out sightseeing and shopping most of the day, so we didn’t get to enjoy everything, but the coffee, juice, and pastries were a perfect start to our morning. The staff were wonderful from check-in through check-out—friendly, warm, and genuinely helpful. After checking out, they were also happy to store our luggage while we grabbed a bite to eat before heading to our next destination. I would absolutely stay here again the next time we’re in Kyoto. I actually liked the hotel so much that I looked to see if they had locations in other parts of Japan that we’ll be visiting. Unfortunately, they currently only have hotels in Kyoto! If you’re considering staying here, I highly recommend it. We had a wonderful experience and would happily stay here again.
