    Great price for what we got. Comfy bed, complementary continental breakfast, free parking, sky tv & a central location. What more could we need?

    Let me begin with the staff was lovely. They were warm and welcoming, so it is not their fault for this review, except for one part. We'll start with the worst thing: I was napping in my room after check-in when I was suddenly startled awake by staff walking into my room without knocking (confirmed from the staff) to put shampoo that I did not ask for in the bathroom. This was so disconcerting that it caused me to have a sleepless night I was so afraid someone else would just waltz in. When I told the front desk, they did apologise, and then very oddly offered me "apology fudge." The hotel is dated, about 40 years it looks like, and needs massive renos. The bathroom in the room leaked like crazy, the shower head was crusty with limescale and the pressure was rubbish. I requested a room with one bed, I got two, both equally uncomfortable and with almost no back support. It was either unbearably hot or freezing in the room. The carpet looked stained and the walls looked like they were in more need than just paint and updated decor. The parking was confusing, and I was not aware that I was supposed to have to pay $25 a night for the parking lot. The continental breakfast wasn't the worst I've had by far, but it was the blandest I've had; that is for sure. I would skip it. Again, staff was lovely, just not a hotel I would stay at again.
