We stayed 2 nights in Kilkea castle. Beautiful property although quite far away from shops and things - Athy is about a 15 minute drive. Staff were lovely but special thank you to Catriona and Natasha for their loveliness. Breakfast was lovely, thermal spa excellent and the hideout is such a lovely touch. We did air rifle which was fab. We initially booked a superior carriage room but then upgraded to a castle room. The castle room was fabulous, however the carriage room was a bit smaller than expected. All in all, a very relaxing 2 days. Would recommend!
