    We stayed 1 night prior to our flight out to Nairobi. The hotel location is fantastic for the airport and offers a free transfer. We used the pool whoch was clean and had fantastic views. The ambience is quiet and peaceful. Dinner was nice and breakfast service was plentiful. Would recommend for anyone flying in and out of Kilimanjaro Airport!

    The staff is really great here. They are very helpful and desire to make your stay pleasant. We enjoyed the dinner experience very much! It was not difficult to schedule a shuttle, but you do need to notify them ahead of time. A nice place to stay!

    We liked the hotel, it is so close to the Kilimanjaro Airport that you could also walk, but this is not necessary since the hotel has a shuttle. The rooms are clean and okay, but a little bit getting on in years. The restaurant and the meals were okay but overpriced. If you need a stopover hotel, this is the best when you want to avoid the 1 h drive to other hotels in Moshi or Arusha !

    My flight was cancelled and beyond my control. As we could not come to the lodge, I attempted a refund or at least a voucher for a future stay. Because I booked with a third party, no refund was possible, even though the third party agreed to refund if KIA Lodge would agree. An expensive mistake. I am sorry for the poor review.
