This is my third time staying at this resort. It's good value for Aussie travellers who wish to go exploring this side of the island and come back to a beautiful pool & ocean on the doorstep. Really good Warung near by if you want some variety.

This traditional resort was a little rundown however the bonsai gardens and pool areas were beautiful. The food was delicious but the service was a little slow. I enjoyed being able to walk onto the beach with access to restaurants and markets

We stayed in this beautiful Balinese style hotel for seven nights. The setting is beautiful and the gardens and grounds are maintained very well. And the swimming pool is lovely, sizeable and clean. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was large and the bed comfortable but generally surfaces were given a wipe rather than cleaned. Bed linen, although laundered, was quite stained at times and once we had to request it was changed. It was a quiet and peaceful hotel.It’s about 30minutes walk from the fishing market which is very interesting but grotty! There are several top quality restaurants within easy walking distance most notably Warung La Lima which is superb. We ate in the hotel restaurant one night and it was basic and disappointing. Breakfast was good, fresh and plentiful, only thing I didn’t like was the processed bread and pastries. It would take very little to make this hotel excellent. Also to buy food or drinks and incidentals in the restaurant was more expensive than other comparative places. - two ice lollies cost a whopping 130,000R. Beach in front of the hotel is challenging to say the least, it’s full of plastic, flotsam and rubbish. There was literally several large mounds of bamboo and plastic right along the beach. I didn’t use it for this reason. Spa was a joke! It was one little old woman with a plinth at the side of the pool and zero privacy. This hotel is beautiful and could be magnificent with a little work and imagination. Although we did enjoy our time here I’m not sure I’d stay again.
