    Everything was A+...the beds were rather firm...however they provided extra padding in the closet. Location was right by all the sites!!!

    Location is great especially with a young family. Fiorum, next door was a was a hit with the kids and there are several sights and restaurants nearby. There are lots of great things to do in or around Namwon too. However, the faculties of the resort are showing their years. The corridors, lobbies and restaurants seems to have been updated but the rooms could use renovation. The main electric outlet above the table was missing a cover. An easy fix left undone. The showerhead was faulty too. Also, there was a dead rat next to the swimming pool, given the decomposition and smell, was there for some time. It was obvious they were not keeping up with cleaning their grounds.

    Namwon is truly worth visiting, and this hotel offers a great location. The hotel is right by the river, and a lovely river walk, especially at night. You can order a BBQ meal to prepare and eat at the hotel, or just walk across the bridge to restaurants near the palace. We had just completed a serious hike at Jirisan National Park, so we ordered fried chicken and French fries at the hotel. We also paid for the breakfast buffet and really enjoyed it. There is a pool, but we did not swim in it. Our room was comfortable, and it featured a small kitchen where you could prepare food and a refrigerator. A small CU is on the property, and a larger convenience store is right down the way. This hotel caters to families and had a lot of children.

    Overall, the stay was fine BUT the beds were rock hard, like sleeping on the floor. The sofa was not much better, didn't get one good nights sleep. Limited English speaking staff, no laundry facilities or gym. An old hotel. Breakfast buffet was probably the best thing about this place and location was fine for our purpose. Overall, good.
