Even though the property is quite old, it is well maintained - at least most areas. The deluxe rooms could use fixing up. And the “activity” room as well as the gym are not exactly functioning. They are closed and not maintained and the staff will only open and dust it if you ask. Also it only contains one pool table (charged extra for use) and a TT table in the attic. Now, to the good part. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast is a decent spread. The common open area of the property is big with a nice flowery garden area and pool which every room is facing. The outside looks exactly like the photos uploaded by the property owners on the website. Word of caution: monkey menace is a real problem only if you have food items lying around in your balcony or eating outside. They don’t attack visitors though, just their snacks.

Good location with a great view of the mountains. Clean modern rooms with comfortable bed, excellent bathroom and a balcony. Courteous staff and good food.

We recently stayed at Kasauli Resort by Piccadily and overall had a good experience, especially because of the beautiful location and peaceful surroundings. The property offers a lovely view and is a great place to relax with family. However, I feel the property is now showing its age and needs significant renovation and overall overhauling. Most importantly, a lift is a must, particularly for families travelling with children or elderly guests. One disappointing experience was regarding our request for a late check-out. The property was almost completely vacant during our stay, yet the reception asked for an additional charge and did not allow the late check-out. In my experience with other hotels and resorts, when there is no upcoming booking or arriving guest, hotels generally accommodate such requests—especially for families travelling with children. A little flexibility here would have made the experience much better. Food & Facilities 🍽️ Food: Good and satisfactory overall. ⭐ Starters: Excellent — probably the best part of the food experience. 🧒 Kids' Zone: Average and could be improved considerably. 🏓 Table Tennis Room: Needs serious attention and renovation; the current condition is disappointing. 🏊 Swimming Pool: Absolutely fabulous! One of the highlights of the property. 📍 Location: Beautiful and one of the biggest strengths of the resort. Overall, the location, swimming pool, food and general hospitality were good, but the property would benefit greatly from renovation, better-maintained recreational facilities, a lift, and a more guest-friendly approach towards requests such as late check-out.
