    We stayed here one night while visiting Rize recently. The rooms are nice, compact (We had the mountian view room) but is comfortable, and it is in an old wood mansion with multiple rooms, decorated in old Turkish style. The views from here are amazing as you are at the top of the hill, overlooking tea plantations rolling down to the Black Sea. Breakfast was very good. The drive to this place is up a steep drive on a narrow road, so just need to be careful. This was not a negative for me; just something to note and be careful about. In the daytime, no issue with driving this road.

    Too expensive for the facilities offered. It’s rather a museum than a hotel, offering beautiful gardens and breathtaking sightseeing. The facilities, breakfast quality and variation are average or even below average. The matress was clearly uncomfortable. The smell of old furniture with moisture is unpleasant and the road is narrow and steep, difficult to navigate especially by night.
