The location is hidden in the back of a back alley
Staff could not find my booking when I arrived
The room was excessively hot upstairs as the air con unit does not cool the upstairs area (only downstairs)
When I asked the reception staff how can I book a taxi to go to the airport, they pointed to the street. No assistance at all, no guidance, no recommendation to say this would be the best place to catch a taxi from, nothing.
Regarding the staff speaking English - I don’t mind if they don’t as we are a visitor in their country, but don’t say on Agoda that they do speak English.
Overall very disappointed and will not be booking there again or recommending this hotel to anyone.

Service is exceptional, staffs are warm and friendly, location is great and near West Lake. Comfortable and clean, and even have washing and drying machine for guests to use! Most importantly, very affordable without compromising on quality!

Some don’t like that the hotel located in a back alley, however, we stayed 3 nights and it was no problem or feeling unsafe. They even provided laundry for free. Wifi doesn’t work for foreigners who don’t have China phone number so we relied completely on our data plan.
