    This is a lovely hostel, with a great feel to the place. The nearby lake is stunning. It is easier to have your own transport to find places to eat at night. We loved being in a local village.

    sangat sesuai untuk yang minat tempat tenang nyaman dan sunyi. boleh dihubungi dengan bas awam tapi perlu awal sebelum jam 4 petang dari bandar. saya terlepas dan naik teksi bayaran agak mahal (rm132.00) mungkin sebab dah lebih jam 19.00 apa2 pun ianya sangat bersih selesa dan owner sangat baik.

    This location out in a sleepy shopless town was so peaceful that I got the best sleep of my whole trip. The proximity to the lakes and the caves is awesome and the host is an incredibly friendly cool guy!

    Accessible by a 30 min ride on the Saiko Sightseeing bus from Kawaguchiko main station, this ryokan is clean, charming and aesthetically detailed. Fun fact: Julian is not actually the host's name, but Japanese romanization for "small wooden village home" The host Neko-san runs this joint with warm patience and local flair. I highly recommend his paid tour of Mt Fuji under the stars, an experience visitors are blessed with only on clear nights. As the ryokan is a little ways from eateries, be prepared to cook in the wonderfully quaint kitchen or survive on conbini bentos.
