First impression: Joyce House gave me a really good first impression. There is 24-hour security downstairs, which made me feel safe and comfortable during my stay.
When I arrived at Joyce House on the fifth floor, there was a check-in desk where the staff assisted us. Cedric helped us get to our room. He was very friendly, helpful, and a great local recommender. He can speak three languages Mandarin, English, and Cantonese which was really convenient for customers.
Queenie also gave us such a warm welcome and made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived.
As you probably know, hotel rooms in Hong Kong can be quite small because of the limited space. The room was compact, but it was totally fine for us. Most importantly, the bed was so comfortable! I slept really well during my stay.
I also asked if I could borrow an iron, and they were kind enough to provide one for me.
For the facilities, the room had towels, including a disposable towel and regular towels that you can request if you need more. In the common area, there was also a free water dispenser. They provided complimentary toothbrushes, shampoo, and shower gel as well.
If you need anything else during your stay, you can simply ask the staff. They were friendly and willing to help.
Overall, I had a really pleasant experience at Joyce House. The location was convenient, the staff were friendly and helpful, and I felt very welcomed throughout my stay.
If I come back to Hong Kong again, I would definitely stay here again. ❤️

This place has all the essentials cramped into a tiny space, but it was quite cozy and comfy for me. I'm 170cm and could fit on the bed and toilet area perfectly fine - but if you're any taller, you might struggle to feel comfortable. There is a bit of a challenge when it comes to showering (like getting prepared to dry yourself after a shower) without making the floor wet but if you're careful and cautious enough, you'll be fine. There's a public water dispenser, microwave, and fridge in the hallway if you need it, which is a big plus. Finally, the best thing for me is location of it being in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui and an extremely short walk from the MTR! The convenience here is unparalleled.
