    We had a comfy be it small bunk bed and a roomy bathroom on the top floor. The night market across the street provided some entertainment as well as good street food. Not much else to do but a good way to see locals in Surat Thani. Breakfast was fine.

    The description stated that the room had a city view. Unfortunately, the superior room doesn’t even have a window, so I don’t understand what kind of view they’re referring to. For breakfast, the same chicken rice soup is served every day. It’s fine, but why place packaged paid breakfast options next to it? I don’t believe fried rice costs more than that rice soup. The hostel itself is beautiful and modern, but the service staff shows zero professionalism. They should think more about hospitality, because small things—like proper bean coffee, more variety at breakfast, or simply offering local fruit—would add much more positive emotion. And if a room has no window, just say so, instead of expecting the guest to stay quiet.
