    This was a fantastic stay. I usually go here for their pool and rooftop facilities but needed a quick getaway and decided to stay for a night, which then became two nights. It was great service, cocktails, food and ambiance as always. Will be back.

    Given we had stayed in a Jetwing hotel in Jaffna previously we had high expectations of this Colombo 7 hotel however we were disappointed on a number of areas. Firstly, in general the staff are good, they try hard to make the experience good however we did have one very poor experience at check out. We had a room on the 12th floor, which was very large and clean albeit a little dated. But our biggest issue was a smell, seemed to be coming from the air conditioning which was loud and even though I set it at 21 it never moved from 24 in the 20 hours we were there. It was also very loud and did impact our sleep. The room, especially the bathroom was very spacious and the small kitchen a bonus. We also felt that the prices here were a little high compared to other hotels we have stayed in Colombo and when the service charge and tax were added we felt that overall the bars and restaurant were not good value for money. Our only negative staff experience was at check out. My wife went to pay our bill, she was not asked if we had a good time or how our stay was, she was simply given a price for our charges, no itemised bill etc. she had to ask for this, as all she was given was a receipt from the card machine. Unfortunately overall I do not believe we would return, I honestly feel there are better hotels offering higher quality services and restaurants at the same or even a lower price point in Colombo.

    Our stay at Jetwing Seven Colombo was okay overall, but the rooms felt quite dated. The toilet door also could not close properly, which affected the comfort of the stay. It was manageable for a short stay.
