    My son forgot his identity card, so the person at reception was so rude to him, verbally throwing him out, that even though he walked across town to get his card from me, he didn't want to return there. I am entirely insulted by a hotel staff's coarseness and stiffing me with the cost of a room that went empty because of their brusque, unsympathetic manner. My son is a gentle spirit and a kind person and he was visibly hurt, humiliated and burned by the way they interacted with him.
