Comfort and price is very good

The hostel is owned by a mother and son, who has taken over for his mother. If you have any questions or concerns you can talk to the son about it and he’ll get it situated. They also offer you tea that they have made from their own garden.

The tea shop has a beautiful ambiance. The bed was super comfortable, the shower with an excellent pressure and I loved the vibes at the place so I stayed an extra night. I highly recommend this guesthouse.

Baum Jeju blew my expectations out of the water! I was a bit hesitant at first, because of the location; however, I was seeking a more secluded stay while in Jeju and this location and guesthouse definitely gifted me more than what I was wishing for! It’s quaint and quiet. The staff are so incredibly kind, gifting you towels, house shoes, and even some tea from their local gardens - which is delicious! The amenities are great with a hot plate, rice cooker, and all the utensils and pans you would need in the shared rooms. The beds are seriously the most comfortable beds I’ve ever stayed in while sharing a room with others. The room is spacious and cozy and well maintained in its cleanliness. There’s a washer available with dry racks on the railings upstairs and downstairs. There’s a cozy shared space downstairs with a piano and guitar, books, and board games. You can also enjoy a shared tea experience for a fee, which is totally worth it! Lastly, there’s a shared space outside, and a fire out for cold nights! If you’re going to stay here, but also want to do things outside of the town, I would recommend having a vehicle or mode of transportation! But the system is reliable, ir will just take a bit to get where you're going and you may walk for longer stretches than usual. Overall, one of my favorite stays at a guesthouse and a wonderful experience! When I return to Jeju, I will return to Baun Jeju!
