I think I got scammed by both Agoda and the Residency. I booked the Deluxe room in Agoda. I viewed the room images in Agoda and in the Google. When I inquired the Residency and they said the cost is ₹***per night. I got ₹200 offer in Agoda, So I booked in Agoda. I thought it was the best value for money unless I visited the room. When I went in, they asked me the booking and asked whether I booked Deluxe room. I said yes. They took me the last room in the 3rd floor. Room number ***. The second I saw the room, I thought I made a mistake. I was with my wife. The smell in the room and the dust in the air made us allergic. The bedsheet was bought during British era I think. The dust in the bedsheet made us sick. The curtains in the window was so dirty that I thinked twice to touch that curtain. One good news is bathroom was good. Hot water took 45mins to fill a small bucket. There was no water when we got up at 5.00 AM for bathing. Due to this our second day plan got delayed by 2 hours. When I asked the Residency attendant about the room mismatch, he said "Agoda is doing fraud by showing wrong photos, the room I gave you is Deluxe room". There is no drinking water nearby to my room. I need to go to next floor to fill water. I cannot call room service from my room. I need to walk all the way up to the Front desk to request for different bedsheet. I need to walk all the way up to request for bathing water at 5.00 AM. It took another 1 hour for the water to come and another 30 mins for geyser to heat and another 45 mins for the water to fill. No rugs were there to place the feet, floor was so chill. During checkout we saw a large and good room on 4th floor. I think that is the deluxe room. Some good news is, room was near to bus stand. No issues in checking in and out. They allowed us to check in at 8.00 AM even though the check in time is 10.00 AM. I also think they are also flexible in keeping things in the reception after checkout. Overall a very low average stay. If you are bachelor and want a low cost room near bus stand, then you are good. I would not suggest for family.

The hotel bathroom was very dirty, the room blanket was dirty.Several people were sitting at the hotel entrance, drunk. There was no way out. The front of the hotel was not clean at all.
