    The staff was truly the saving grace of this otherwise okay-ish hotel. Location was decent, 10 minutes of a pleasant walk from both the train/bus station and the city centre with a panaderia right next door, the single room was good enough for one person although they should replace the furniture with something less bulky to make better use of the already limited space, the bed was comfortable but the pillows were too hard/firm for my liking. I also didn't like that the AC blew directly towards me with no way to adjust it. Bathroom was comparatively rather large and the shower pressure was VERY good. Lastly, the wifi connection was extremely poor, I could only get a weak signal at one corner of the bathroom - even the breakfast room had no connection. I only stayed for one night; otherwise, this would've been an issue. However, the saving grace was the staff, who were VERY friendly throughout, from the Reception (granting me an early check-in with a big smile on his face) to Housekeeping and Restaurant. Everyone was very welcoming.

    Cheap yet clean. Large beds comfortable enough (important as we have back pain). Our room was ready when we got there and so was the baby cot. Outdate but we didn’t mind as we were out and about all day! Walking distance from the hop on/off bus therefore easy to get around the city with a newborn. Many parks at walking distance. Also walking distance from the train station.
