I recently stayed at The Iron Horse Inn in Cottonwood, Arizona. I stayed in a room with two single beds, which worked out perfectly for my son and me. While the room wasn't very big and had a tiny bathroom, it was clean.
However, there was a major safety issue during our stay. The hotel provided no bath mat, leaving the shower floor incredibly slick. While getting out of the shower, I slipped and fell, severely twisting my ankle. I ended up having to get my ankle medically checked out, and it turned out to be a bad sprain as well as a torn tendon from the fall. I let the front desk clerk know exactly what happened.
Despite the serious injury, the property itself was nice and clean. I would consider staying here again, but only under the condition that they provide a proper bath mat to ensure the bathroom is safe.

This is my second time staying at this hotel and it didn’t disappoint. Located right in the heart of downtown Cottonwood, it is walkable to shops, wineries and restaurants. It’s less than 10 mins from the Verde Canyon Train ride and a couple of minutes from Tuzigoot National Monument.

Each time when we are in Cottonwood, we enjoy staying here. It is an ideal location, with a small town feel. Staff is wonderful and the rooms are cozy and clean. Thank you for always making our stay enjoyable.

We stayed one night. Right on the Main Street and walking distance to many restaurants and shops. It was a place to stay for the evening and no complaints. Best part was the fresh coffee and access to the Main Street for shops!
