    The staff is competent and friendly, the breakfast buffet is great and the entire hotel seems new or recently renovated. Located directly next to the main railway station, food and snacks are easily sourced, a Netto supermarket is about 5 minutes away. Also easily reached in 15 to 20 minutes on foot is the old town and then the harbour. Of course, one could use the trams or busses that connect from the main station. We will be back when we are in Rostock again.
