    oved our stay here! We stayed for 2 nights during the off-season, so there were only a few guests and it really felt like we had our own private resort. It’s very serene and peaceful, especially at night. I loved the room, bathroom, and the natural lighting in the morning. We did have a power interruption for about an hour, but we just treated it as a candlelight dinner and actually enjoyed the experience. 😄 We also saw a tuko in the bathroom, but I didn’t mind since we were in the mountains and that’s their natural habitat. The only downsides were the limited staff, which meant food orders took a while, the bathroom lighting was a bit dim, and there was no bidet. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back for the peace and quiet!

    Such an amazing stay! The views from the property are absolutely exceptional, and the food was incredible the portion sizes for a single serving are huge, so you definitely won't go hungry. Just a small heads-up: if you request a special setup like a honeymoon package, keep in mind it’s not guaranteed. That said, the overall vibe is unbeatable, and I highly recommend this place if you're looking to unwind and chill.

    > We stayed at Insense Mountain Resort, Siquijor on Sept 2. A RAT chewed a large hole in my bag inside the room (see photo). The bag is ruined and cannot be used anymore. > > We reported it immediately to management. We were just allowed to check-out with no compensation, no incident report, and were only told to "wait for investigation". > > Today is Sept 10 — 8 days later — still NO update, no apology, no offer for compensation. This is very disappointing for a mountain resort charging premium rates. > > There is a clear pest control and hygiene issue. If rats can enter rooms and destroy guest belongings, what about safety and health? > > I expect proper accountability and compensation. Until then, I cannot recommend this resort.
