We go for the nostalgia, attentive service and great restaurant. Melvyn’s is a must, if you haven’t tried. Great service, food, and people watching. Old school Palm Springs at its finest!

Had an enjoyable stay at the hotel. Breakfast was awesome - recommend the French Toast !!!! Very central and walking distance to most of the popular trail points and also amazing dining options nearby

We have stayed here in the past and had a lovely patio, veranda, where we could enjoy a view. I don’t know if it’s because we booked through 3rd (agora)party, but our room fell very short of what I’d consider “nice,” although the hotel was near empty. Our room, located by the bathrooms, was clean, but windowless other than one right by valet parking and the restaurant. If we weren’t so tired, I’d have asked to be changed, especially when the heater stopped working. I’m not a complainer, but I have no problem expressing my disappointment.

Staff lies to you about security deposit amount which they quote as far less than what they authorize on your credit card. Staff does not disclose a resort fee - it is a surprise when you look at your credit card transactions. On a prepaid stay /
staff tells you upon checkout that you owe for the whole stay. Pool area unsafe due to multiple uneven levels. Just getting in the room was unsafe due to a very high and wide step to even get in! Only stayed one night - and, it turned into a nightmare!!
