    I’m writing this review honestly because I always read reviews carefully before booking accommodation, and I believe future guests deserve to know what to expect. Woodborne is a genuinely beautiful property with a stunning setting, beautiful villas, and tremendous potential. Unfortunately, the actual experience was let down by poor maintenance and very limited guest services. The swimming pool looks beautiful but was not properly maintained, and the pool water and surrounding area did not appear clean. The rooms also needed much more attention, and there were visible stains on the bed, which was disappointing. Staff availability was extremely limited, with poor coordination and no proper telephone or communication facility to contact someone when assistance was needed. We had to arrange basic necessities ourselves, including food and sufficient drinking water. The villas are accessed by stairs, which I actually found charming, but without proper assistance or service, it can become inconvenient, especially with luggage. The breakfast was particularly disappointing—just a small amount of bread with very little else. I would not consider it a proper resort breakfast. The staff appeared very young and the property seemed to be operating with a very limited team. I won’t speculate about their employment or training, but the lack of experienced hospitality staff and coordination was noticeable. I’m sharing this feedback not to discourage anyone from visiting, but so future guests can make an informed decision. Woodborne has an exceptionally beautiful setting and could become a wonderful resort if management focuses on housekeeping, pool maintenance, staffing, communication, food, breakfast, and overall guest service. The potential is definitely there; the management and service simply need to match the beauty of the property.
