    A very good stay at nearby prime location lake and the balcony view was very beautiful

    The location is remote. You have to go down a mountain and get to the property. The rooms are spacious. It is a dead zone for mobile. Wifi in the property is great. But frequent power failures makes wifi frustrating. Food was good at the property. I had too many power cuts in 2 days and no wifi or Tv for a whole night. These need to be improved.

    This is actually VV Grand Hotel. Mr. Maya Kannan, reception and Mr. Ulaganathan, room service were outstanding in their service. Food was good, although the kitchen could be cleaner. The restaurant was extremely cramped for room. The staff had a tough time managing guests during breakfast time. There was no water in the bathroom early in the morning, and it took almost 45min for restoration of supply. There were frequent power cuts during which the Wifi would be down. Also the generator backup would kick in after about nearly a minute. Housekeeping too wasn't done well. Floors of both the room and bathroom were dirty. The body wash was not topped up. In all, a disappointing stay. Certainly would not recommend.

    The restaurant in the hotel has very limited options. Located in a valley with steep roads, we have to go out for dinner or deliver through a third party, which is a challenge. To improve the experience, the property owner should invest in the restaurant. The premium rooms are spacious and clean with a view from balcony. However, the bathroom was dirty and not cleaned properly. The manager was helpful and well behaved. We stayed on 30 and 31 Dec, which are the peak dates for end of the year and the price was quite high. In this price, we expected better overall service. I would recommend to improve the quality to train the Staffs and facilities for a more relaxing experience in the future.
