    The hotel is in an excellent location overlooking the sea. The staff and service were exceptional. The dinner and Japanese breakfast were both delicious. We wish we could have stayed another night!!

    Hotel room is with amazing unblocked seaview. The beach is also easily accessible from the hotel. Room is clean and well-upkept. Breakfast provided is very good too. Staffs services is amazing. It is a must go hotel if you visit Ibuzuki.

    The Ibusuki Royal Hotel provided us with a needed break 1/3 through our travels through Japan. The location is really lovely and the staff are accommodating. While the hotel is older, it is well maintained and we had no complaints about the room and it was the largest we have had so far. Definitely worth the extra money to have an ocean view room. We also purchased the breakfast and dinner combo and were treated to fantastic multi course meals that allowed us to explore and experience local Japanese cuisine. Although I prefer not to eat beef or pork, after the first night, our English speaking server was able to facilitate lovely alternative dinner and breakfast items. The Onsen was nice and we took advantage of the hotel’s shuttle bus to take us to and from the naturally heated sand baths which are unique to Ibusuki. Recommend adding the Ibusuki Royal Hotel to your itinerary.

    Once introduced to the rim for three nights we never had a room change. They leave a few things outside the door each day and don’t collect rubbish. It was our most expensive hotel in Japan and least best stay. Even the pool had not been cleaned daily However on a positive side the onsen was nice enough and the outside onsen great view. Basically the hotel had a run down but clean personality, needs fixing/painting and a freshen up. You know .. tired one foot in the grave.
