I had a comfortable and pleasant stay at ibis London Barking. The room was clean, quiet, and well-equipped for a short trip. I really appreciated that breakfast is served until 11 am, which made for a relaxed morning, and checkout isn’t until 12 pm , a nice bonus compared to many other hotels. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there is parking on site. Overall, a great value stay for leisure trips.

They didn’t offer clothing ironing facilities nor any compensation or coupons, they just say to send them emails that they will not reply to. We had to buy our own iron to iron our clothes since there was no ironing facilities as advertised

Very disappointing experience. We stayed for 3 days, and the room temperature controller was not working at all. Despite reporting the issue, nothing was repaired and we were not offered another room. The Wi-Fi was also not working, which was especially frustrating because we were told that a previous guest had already complained about the exact same issue. We raised the problem ourselves, but were simply told that it would be repaired “in a few days.” That is not acceptable when guests are paying to stay at the property. Basic facilities such as temperature control and Wi-Fi should be working, and when they are not, management should take responsibility and provide a reasonable solution. Overall, the lack of urgency, communication, and customer service made our 3-day stay extremely disappointing. I would not recommend staying here unless these basic issues are properly addressed.
